Fresh off our 3rd place finish in the Pac-12 Conference, we are all working toward the common goal of returning to the NCAA Tournament for back to back appearances and advancing in our bracket.
With that singular focus in mind, our newcomers and returning team is WORKING HARD every day!  They are in class, going to study hall, in the weight room and we are able to do skill instruction with them each week.
We will have our freshmen and one remaining transfer start here shortly.  It’s great to see this group of men attack every area and grow together as a team.  There are so many new excited faces every day in Weatherup.  If you want more information on our team, you can read up on them HERE

Another week of stellar fan questions:
Rob Fleming asks: Will there be any chances to watch the team practice or play before the season starts?  Absolutely, are you kidding me!  I cannot wait for you to see this group.  We will host an open house at a practice in Weatherup in early October.  That is the first opportunity we can invite fans to see the team in a workout situation.  We will get that date out ASAP.  We will also host our annual Maroon and Gold Game in Wells Fargo Arena tentatively scheduled in early November.
Jason Gellare asks: What non-conference game are you most looking forward to?  Every year I will give you the same answer:  the first one!  It’s the first chance we will all see how our team responds.  So circle November 14th on your calendar and let’s PACK Wells Fargo Arena to max capacity.  With seven talented newcomers and a proven group of returners, the non-conference season will be as important as ever.  I think we have a perfect blend of games to challenge us and give ASU a strong NCAA resume come selection time.  We released our schedule this week.  If you have not seen it visit this page for non-conference and conference home/away weekends.
Deacon Miller asks: Do you have any off-season rituals?  One of my favorite off-season rituals is to watch film of select college and NBA teams to get new ideas and perspective.  It’s something I really enjoy.
