Nov 19

Las Vegas has been good to Sun Devil sophomore point guard Jahii Carson.

Carson dropped a career-high 40 points in an 86-80 road win over UNLV on Nov. 19 and became only the seven Sun Devil in school history to score 40 or more points in a single game.

His previous career-high 34 points was also in Las Vegas, in the first round of an 89-88 overtime win over Stanford in the 2012 Pac-12 Tournament.

Carson’s 40 points rank as the fifth most in ASU annals and the most since James Harden scored 40 against UTEP on Nov. 30 2008.
