Will Sutton is first Sun Devil to earn a Pac-12 Player of the Week since Jamal Miles on Oct. 3 last year, and the first defensive player since Shelly Lyons last year on Sept. 26. Miles also won the special teams honor on Nov. 28, 2009, while Junior Onyeali (Nov. 1, 2010) is the only other current player to have earned the honor.

Sutton is the 81st Sun Devil to earn the honor and joins a laundry list of who’s-who in Sun Devil football lore.
