Because your support was such a big part of the Sun Devils’ 27-17 win over California on Saturday, we want you to pick the #SunDevilStar of the week. The four nominees are listed below, so tweet your pick to @FootballASU with the hashtag #SunDevilStar and the winner will be announced at the end of the day.

Name: Taylor Kelly

Position: Quarterback

Class: Redshirt Sophomore; Height: 6-2; Weight: 202; Hometown: Eagle, Idaho

Quarterback Taylor Kelly threw for 292 yards (26-for-45) and three touchdowns to guide the Sun Devils to a 27-17 win over California in Berkeley, Calif. After the Golden Bears scored a touchdown with just over nine minutes to play in the fourth quarter to bring their deficit to three, Kelly led the offense on a 74-yard, nine-play drive that resulted in a 22-yard touchdown pass to put the Devils ahead by 10 and secure the win.

The offense collected 409 yards of total offense and Kelly finished with a 134.3 passer rating. He is first in the Pac-12 in passing efficiency, and 16th nationally, and fourth in the conference in total offense (287 ypg). His 45 pass attempts were a career high as he spread the ball to seven different receivers in the game, including six that had 3+ catches and two with more than five receptions.

He also pinned a punt at the five-yard line and has placed all three of his punts this season inside the 20-yard line.

Name: Will Sutton

Position: Defensive lineman

Class: Redshirt junior; Height: 6-1; Weight: 267; Hometown: Corona, Calif.

Defensive lineman Will Sutton, who tied a career high with eight tackles (six solo), was a constant in the Cal backfield as he collected three sacks and forced a fumble to lead ASU to a 27-17 win over the Golden Bears in Berkeley, Calif. His four tackles for loss were a major factor in the Sun Devils’ defense holding Cal to 285 yards of total offense, including 126 passing and 159 rushing (they were averaging more than 400 yards of total offense entering the game).

His four TFL resulted in a loss of 27 yards, including a loss of 24 from his three sacks, and he had a quarterback hurry as the Sun Devils tallied 10 TFL for a loss of 61 yards.

Sutton’s 1.30 sacks per game (six total) are tied for second in the conference and rank eighth nationally.  He is also second in the Pac-12 and ninth nationally in tackles for loss per game with 2.0 (10 total).

Name: Josh Hubner

Position: Punter

Class: Senior Height: 6-4; Weight: 238; Hometown: Scottsdale, Ariz.

Punter Josh Hubner punted five times for 44.6 yards and placed two of them inside the 20-yard line in the Sun Devils’ 27-17 win over Cal in Berkeley, Calif. He also had a 37-yarder that landed close to the Cal 5-yard line before it bounced back to the 20-yard line. Two of them went for 60+ yards, including a 62-yarder, tied for his career long, and a 61-yarder.

Average field position played a big part in ASU’s win. ASU started on it’s own 38-yard line, while California’s average field position was its own 19-yard line.

Hubner is second in the Pac-12 and 12th nationally in punting (45.32). Ten of Hubner’s 19 punts have been downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line, and only seven of Hubner’s 19 punts have been returned.

Name: Kevin Ozier

Position: Wide Receiver

Class: Redshirt junior; Height: 6-2; Weight: 196; Hometown: San Diego, Calif.

Wide receiver Kevin Ozier had two touchdowns against the Bears and finished with three catches for 42 yards. All three catches went for a first down, including a game-clinching 22-yard touchdown catch on 3rd and 11 in the fourth quarter. A former walk-on who earned a scholarship before the season started, Ozier had two career touchdowns entering the game.
