Starting The Season Off Right By #SpeakingVictory
For the past several months, head coach Todd Graham has talked about how the Sun Devils were going to play a high octane style of play. The 63 points the offense put on the board Thursday night backed up that talk and the defense’s three interceptions and two sacks added to the electricity surrounding Frank Kush field.
“I told our fans that we would represent them with class, character, and toughness. I thought they did that. We prepared hard and they worked hard,” said Graham. “There’s been an awful lot of change and I’ve asked them to trust me. They did that. Obviously we have a lot of things to get better at, but I’m so proud of the effort that they gave, and it was an impressive first win.”’

Graham has preached unity all offseason which was exemplified by the team coming together on the field against NAU Thursday night.
The team stayed true to their promise and the entire squad, including the coaching staff sang the fight song in front of the student section at the conclusion of the game. Graham also tossed a game ball into the crowd, something he plans to do with each victory at Sun Devil Stadium.
