• Legendary Sun Devil head coach Frank Kush watched the morning practice and spoke to the entire team at the end
• Sr. Associate AD and former Sun Devil assistant coach Don Bocchi accompanied coach Kush to practice
• Former Sun Devil players Gary Venturo, Trevor Kohl (older brother of current Sun Devil freshman Cody Kohl) and Brett Wallerstedt, who is the Associate General Manager for Sun Devil IMG Sports Marketing, were at the morning practice 
• Sun Devil IMG Sports Marketing brought two clients, Wendy’s and Papa John’s, to watch the morning practice
• Sr. Associate AD for OSAD Jean Boyd helped the team pull the tarp off the field for morning practice, but not before he completed a slip-n-slide on the tarp

Media presence:

• Arizona Republic columnists Scott Bordow and Paola Boivin were at the morning practice and conducted interviews
•  Jody Jackson and Fox Sports Arizona sat down with coach Graham, and conducted interviews with linebacker Brandon Magee and other players
• Tom Ward from KVAL in Eugene, Ore., stopped by the morning practice as part of their Pac-12 media tour. They talked with coach Graham, safety Alden Darby and quarterback Taylor Kelly, among others
•  Brad Cesmat and Ed Cole from Pros2Preps.com did their radio show from Kohl’s Ranch, just a ½ mile from Camp T
• 3TV and AZFamily.com took a tour of the Camp T dorms, with punter Josh Hubner, safeties Alden Darby and Keelan Johnson, and linebacker Steffon Martin acted as tour guides
• Associate AD for Media Relations Mark Brand took the Arizona Republic, including beat writer Doug Haller and photographer Michael Chow, on a tour of Camp T

Other tidbits:

• Defensive linemen Mike Pennel, Sean O’Grady and Jake Sheffield, and linebacker Kipeli Konseti sat out the majority of the morning practice and worked out at “Muscle Beach”
• Coach Graham pointed out wide receiver Rashad Ross as having a good morning practice

From the team segment:

• Quarterbacks Taylor Kelly and Michael Eubank both connected on long passes to tight end Chris Coyle
•  Running back James Morrison once again took snaps with the first team
• Morrison and fellow running back Marion Grice rattled off consecutive 6-yard carries up the middle of the defense
•  Eubank had to tuck it and run at one point, and was able to gain more than 10 yards on the play
•  Running back D.J. Foster’s first carry was stuffed at the line of scrimmage by fellow freshman Jaxon Hood. However, Foster came back the next play and ran for more than 10 yards
• The team showcased a package that involved Eubank at quarterback, with Morrison and Foster flanking him on either side
